Changing Contact Email PDF Print E-mail
I've looked through the forums for an answer to this question, but to no avail. So, I am wondering if you might be able to help. I want to change the email address to which the contact form is sent to when it's submitted. When I change the address in my global configurations to the new address, and test it, the new user doesn't receive the email. Any idea what could be the bug?

Hi...
So your global configuration email has nothing to do with that email in the contact form.
I know it can seem counter-intuitive, but that contact form is a generic form for the com_contact component. Meaning that each contact in your Joomla CMS, can have a page similar to that page, and receive emails from your system. It is common practice for Joomla webmasters to use com_contact to make a contact page only for the site.

Long story short:
1. login to the backend
2. go to com_contact
3. Find the contact you set up for your site
4. Change the email

That should do it...
Thanks for the answer, but...

This doesn't solve the issue. The odd thing is that I try changing it to other email addresses to test it, and it works just like you suggest, but when I set it to the person's email address where I want the contact emails to be sent, he doesn't get them. It's a yahoo account, but that shouldn't matter. They aren't in his spam folder either.
